Creative Direction & Styling
In this project I embarked on a journey to challenge traditional notions of professionalism and office attire, while simultaneously exploring themes of authenticity, self-expression, and work-life balance. The concept was born out of a desire to authentically depict the daily lives of busy working women, highlighting the complexity of their identities in the modern workplace.

At the heart of this project lies a commitment to showcasing the resilience and strength required to navigate professional spaces while maintaining personal expression. Through rushed, undone, and messy styling, I aimed to capture the raw and unfiltered reality of these women's lives, shedding light on the sometimes chaotic nature of balancing career and personal life.

The central message of this photoshoot is one of empowerment and self-acceptance. By challenging stereotypes and embracing the imperfections of everyday life, I hope to inspire women to embrace their true selves unapologetically, both in and out of the workplace.

In conceptualizing my photoshoot project, I drew inspiration from a diverse array of sources spanning the 1960s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, as well as TWEN Magazine, renowned for its minimalistic aesthetic and innovative approach to office wear. My aim was to pay homage to the iconic fashion eras while infusing them with a modern twist that reflected my unique artistic vision.
Initially, I envisioned a monochromatic vintage look, reminiscent of the sleek and sophisticated styles of past decades. However, as the project evolved, I found myself drawn to the raw and vibrant energy of coloured photographs with more modern "clean" look. Embracing this newfound inspiration, I decided to inject a pop of saturation into the images, enhancing their richness and intensity. To further amplify the new found aesthetic, I experimented with colour balance adjustments, adding touches of magenta for more "juicy" feel.
